About American Agora Foundation
Our Mission and Purpose
The American Agora Foundation, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to fostering an interest in and developing an acquaintance with history. Our mission is to create, expand, promote, assist, fortify, and encourage the sense and use of history.
We aim to create an appreciation for history by publishing Lapham's Quarterly, a unique quarterly journal that incorporates four millennia of literature, art, and disclosure. This publication serves as a rich cultural resource for enhancing the love of history among citizens.
Programs and Activities
Our primary program is Lapham's Quarterly, which engages in a broader historical discussion, making it part of the educational community's teaching arsenal. Through this publication, we strive to make history accessible, engaging, and relevant to contemporary audiences.
